Day 2: Melbourne to London to Brighton (England)

Wow what a massive day.  We left Canberra and made it safely to Melbourne.  The flights from Melbourne to Dubai, and then from Dubai to London were awesome - check out the photos Emily and Thomas chilling out in their seats, and Thomas got a few hours sleep.... next time Ink and I are going to accept the upgraded seats ...

Emily and Thomas chilling out on the plane from Dubai to London

The A380 was massive, and Emily and Thomas were lucky enough to have a look through first class, and met the captain and he took the kids into the cockpit - lucky we had landed at that point :)

Thomas in the co-pilot seat of our A380
Emily in the pilot seat of the A380 - just landed in Healthrow.
The actual captain of the A380 who flew us Melbourne to London, and was very kind in showing us around.

Dear 5/6 White and Miss Ferguson,
I am in Brighton (England)
At the moment I am having breakfast and it is 8:30 in the morning. At 10:00 am we are going to drive to a place called Dover then we are going to Cambridge.

Cool facts:
Outside our plane it was -52 degrees! (very very cold)
The beaches don't have any sand here, they only have rocks!

Dear 2 White and Mrs Barrett,
We arrived in London yesterday afternoon on the big A380 plane. We got to  meet the pilot, and I got to fly the plane! It was so cool!
We are in Brighton now, at the beach.

  3. Dear Emily,
We hope you landed safely. The cockpit looked AWESOME!

How was your breakfast and what did you have? How long did the car
trip take? What movies did you watch? What are you going to do in Brighton?

We looked up Dover and we thought it looked amazing.

We miss you heaps and school feels different without you around!

    From your loving class mates,

    5/6 White and Miss Ferguson.

P.S On the beach the rocks replacing sand is a crazy idea.

  4. Dear 5/6 white and Miss Ferguson,
Thanks for commenting on my blog!
For breakfast I had an very yummy omlete and cereal. The car trip felt like 10 mins but it was actually 2hours, but I was asleep for the whole thing! I watched about 10 movies
on the plane ( it was awesome). In Brighton we stayed there for one night and then moved onto Whittlesford. I will keep you guys update on what's happening and where I go!

    From your awesome classmate Emily
