Day 12 and 13: Legoland (Windsor - England)

"Oh my God" "Oh my God" ...."Oh my God" ....seriously how could this day get any better.  Naturally, we had made it to Legoland.

Policeofficer Emily and Ingrid, after Buzz the bandit

You should have seen Thomas's face when he saw a life-sized Hulk Buster after walking into Legoland.

Ninjago wasn't too bad either

Thomas's iPod camera went balistic when he saw The Avengers Helicarrier ... If you need any angle then just let him know.

S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier
There was pleny of stuff for the Dad's too ... and kids that like Star Wars.
The LED lit engines were  impressive...most impressive

We then hit the rides...hard.  The Pirate Ship was first...

In perfect poise the trio gracefully entered the water below....

As seen when zoomed in...
....Heeeeeeeeeelllllllllllllppppppppppppppp
We all could actually hear the point of impact based on the pitch variation in Emily's voice.

That was totally wicked!!!!! Can we go again?
That ride was awesome.....!
There are so many photos, we just can't put em all up .... but the kids had an awesome time and didn't want to leave.
That son of gun cut me off......Should I give him a piece of my mind....

Needed the speed settings to keep up with this one....must of been food around the corner
Overall, a really enjoyable couple of days in Legoland.

Dear 5/6 White and Miss Ferguson,
Today I went to Legoland! It had water rides, rollercosters, and other kinds of awesome rides. We went on one called Pirate Splash! It is like sitting in a log and at first you sit back and relax for the first part, but then you get dragged up to the top and............ you go screaming down the to the bottom! I was scared and I was screaming ( true fact!) but it was awesome and if you look at all the photos at the top you could see me being a little little bit scared.

From your awesome classmate Emily

Dear 2 White and Mrs Barrett,
Today I went to Legoland. I hopped on a lego car with my sister.  I had to stop at a red light. I drove well. I had a photo with the hulk buster lego suit it was next to the lego shop.  My favourite part was everything.

  1. Dear Emily,

Thank you for your message. Legoland looks amazing especially the Hulk
Buster. Nice shocked face Emily! Which was the scariest ride that you
went on and why? Did you go to the all the sections? If you did which
ride was the scariest and why?

    From Miss Ferguson and 5/6W

P.S.Hey Buzz have you put on your inner Hulk Buster? Of course it has to be Lego! Oh and of course Emily, the last time I checked you didn't have your license!

  2. Dear Thomas and family,

Firstly, we would love to say that we have been reading your blog regularly and we are totally envious of all the things you are doing and seeing. We especially love the pictures you sent about Legoland. Our other favourites include you standing next to the guards, the obstacle course, the chocolate X-box controls and the castle.

In class we are doing lots of work like spelling, maths and science. We have also worked on the iPads. We have enjoyed doing all the fun stuff in the classroom.
Last Friday we celebrated the Sts Peter and Paul Feast Day. We went to mass and had a spelling bee. In the Spelling Bee Evie came second out of all the year 2 children and Annabelle came in third. The day was fun and enjoyable.

Today we went to see Stage 3 and their models that they made. They were excellent, epic, wonderful, cool, awesome and creative. They were all about how different indigenous people live in the world. Year 5 and 6 did a terrific job. In cooking we have made lemonade, play dough and pizza rolls. Yum, Yum!!

We have two more days until holidays. We are all looking forward to the break. It has been pretty cold here. So it will be nice to stay at home and relax.

We have enjoyed reading the blog and look forward to more of it. Sorry that this has taken so long to write back but we don’t have access to the blog. Miss Ferguson has kindly forwarded this letter to you from us.

Keep on having lots of fun!!

From Mrs Barrett, Mrs Shepherd and the wonderful children of 2White.
